A memorable learning experience that I've had in the past was learning to drive standard.
My vision of an idea school is one that is fun. Probably learning in different ways other than just sitting down in a class room listening to lectures. The main core classes would be as fun as taking an elective. We would be working with our hands and interacting with our fellow classmates.
There are some things we need to learn before graduating that we cant achieve in just only school - being independent: be able to wash clothes, cook your own meals, and to basically support yourself. In school, we can learn to be independent by learning to study and responsible for your missing assignments and keeping up with everything. Another thing is having good social skills. We can learn to improve that skill by interacting and socializing with people - creating conversations, and basically being a "people person."

Hi Daryenne,
ReplyDeleteInteresting selection for your memorable learning experience. You need, however, to describe it further. For the "ideal school" description, can you think of some examples of "fun" learning?
And re the other important skills--how do you think your generation is doing at learning those? I'd be interested to hear your assessment of this :)
Assessment score: 3
