Growing up, I've watched my dad draw and paint on his wall. I remember laying down on his bed looking up on the ceiling, seeing a Seagull that he drew flying. On the wall, he drew a lizard and the waves. It was beautiful. Thinking back on it now, I was mesmerized by his drawings. Thats what first inspired me to draw. As I grew older, I stopped drawing. Started to do my make-up and hair, cutting up shirts creating crazy designs, and doing my nails. When I'm really into something, I take my time to make it really good.
I want to take my creativity further. Just as I have gone from drawing, to applying make-up and doing hair, to doing my nails, I want to go much farther than that. During my years in high school, I have noticed that I have been able to expand my creativity through media and my writing. I would like to stretch my knowledge, skill, experience, and impact through this passion by continuing in challenging my creativity. By opening my mind up to my surroundings, I hope to come up with many ideas.
Hi Daryenne,
ReplyDeleteSeems like your post here takes your passion further than the "research plan" post on Blackboard...
I guess you'll need to decide if you want to design your "impact project" around media or around make up ;>
Whichever route you go, I think you'd need to get professional feedback on your product. Thus, instead of just working on these passions and talents, you'd get some real world critique which could help you to stretch and take your skill to the next level :)
